Sales Terms
These Sales Terms (hereinafter the "Sales Terms") exclusively govern the subscription to and use of the paid services (hereinafter the "Paid Services") offered by MEILLEURSJOBS, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of EUR 10,000, registered with the Montpellier Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 941 599 466, whose registered office is located at 1 Place Pierre Mendès France, 34170 Castelnau-le-Lez, France (hereinafter "MeilleursJobs"), via the website meilleursjobs.com and its subdomains (hereinafter the "Platform").
The Sales Terms apply to any order, subscription and signup made by a User on the Platform. They supplement the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, with which they form an indivisible contractual whole.
Validation of an order on the Platform entails full, complete and unreserved acceptance of these Sales Terms, of which the User acknowledges having taken note before any subscription.
1. Scope
These Sales Terms apply to all distance sales concluded between MeilleursJobs and any natural person who has reached the age of majority, who qualifies as a consumer within the meaning of the preliminary article of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), and who subscribes to a Paid Service via the Platform (hereinafter the "Customer").
The Paid Services are intended for strictly personal use as part of a job search. Any subscription for professional or commercial purposes, for resale, or on behalf of a third party, is expressly excluded from the scope of these Sales Terms and requires the conclusion of a specific contract.
The Sales Terms applicable to an order are those in force on the date of that order, as available on the Platform. Any subsequent amendment shall have no retroactive effect on ongoing orders, subject to the provisions of Article 14.

3. Description of the Paid Services
MeilleursJobs offers two ranges of Paid Services, set out below. The precise characteristics of each offer (volume, limits, included features) are also displayed on the Platform's pricing page at the time of subscription. In the event of any discrepancy, the characteristics displayed at the time of subscription shall prevail.
General principle. The prices, included features and trial conditions applicable to each order are those displayed on the Platform's pricing page at the time of subscription. The tables below are provided for information only with respect to the offers currently marketed; MeilleursJobs reserves the right, under the conditions of Article 3.4, to update its catalogue, in particular as part of commercial tests (limited offers, A/B tests, partner offers, promotions).
3.1 CVBoost — subscriptions
CVBoost is a service that assists with the creation, optimisation and distribution of curriculum vitae, integrating artificial intelligence features.
| Offer | Regular price (incl. VAT) | Frequency | Trial period |
|---|---|---|---|
| CVBoost — monthly subscription | EUR 19.90 / month | Monthly, by tacit renewal | 7-day full access for EUR 2.95 incl. VAT |
| CVBoost — annual subscription | EUR 59.90 / year | Annual, by tacit renewal | No trial period |
Included features (for information only and subject to change): unlimited CV generation and optimisation by artificial intelligence, premium templates, ATS-compatible PDF export, application tracking, job-search support resources. Up-to-date details are displayed on the pricing page.
3.2 Candiboost — subscriptions
Candiboost is a service that enables automated and personalised sending of spontaneous applications to targeted employers, based on the parameters set by the Customer.
Several plans are currently offered; MeilleursJobs markets some or all of the following offers, depending on the period and Customer profile:
| Offer | Regular price (incl. VAT) | Included send volume | Trial period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Candiboost — monthly subscription (legacy offer) | EUR 19.90 / month | As per the grid displayed at subscription | As per the grid displayed at subscription |
| Candiboost — annual subscription | EUR 89.90 / year | As per the grid displayed at subscription | No trial period |
| Candiboost STARTER | EUR 30.00 / month | 100 sends per billing cycle | No trial period |
| Candiboost PRO | EUR 40.00 / month | 200 sends per billing cycle | No trial period |
| Candiboost PREMIUM | EUR 50.00 / month | 400 sends per billing cycle | No trial period |
The "send volume" refers to the maximum number of applications that may be sent via Candiboost during a billing cycle. Sends that are not used by the end of a cycle are not carried over to the next cycle. The features included in each offer (targeting, tracking, analytics, number of active campaigns) are specified on the pricing page.
3.3 Additional option — CV generation for Candiboost
An additional option for generating a CV tailored to each Candiboost campaign may be subscribed to by Customers who already hold a Candiboost subscription, at a price of EUR 4.90 incl. VAT per month, by tacit renewal, under the same cancellation conditions as the main subscription and with no trial period.
3.4 Pricing changes and commercial offers
MeilleursJobs reserves the right to amend its prices, offers and their characteristics (volumes, features, trial conditions) at any time, in particular as part of commercial tests or catalogue updates. The prices and characteristics applicable to an order are those displayed on the day of that order on the Platform's pricing page. In the event of a change affecting an ongoing subscription, the Customer is informed at least thirty (30) days before the effective date, by email sent to the address associated with their Account. The Customer may cancel their subscription before the effective date of the change in accordance with the procedures set out in Article 8.
4. Trial period
4.1 Characteristics
Certain offers on the Platform — and in particular, as at the date of these Sales Terms, the CVBoost monthly subscription — include a trial period of seven (7) calendar days, at the one-off and non-refundable price of EUR 2.95 incl. VAT, giving access to the features of the chosen offer for the duration of the trial.
The other offers (in particular CVBoost annual, the Candiboost STARTER / PRO / PREMIUM plans, and the additional CV Generation option) do not include a trial period and are taken out directly at the regular price.
The presence or absence of a trial period for a given offer is specified on the Platform's pricing page at the time of subscription. The actual terms applied to the order are those displayed to the Customer before validation of the order and reflected in the order confirmation sent by email.
The trial period, when offered, is strictly reserved for new Customers. Any attempt to subscribe to multiple trial periods (in particular through several email addresses or several means of payment) constitutes an abusive use and authorises MeilleursJobs to terminate the subscription and to charge the regular price.
4.2 Automatic renewal at the end of the trial period
Where the subscribed offer includes a trial period, at the end of that period, and unless previously cancelled by the Customer in accordance with the conditions of Article 8, the subscription is automatically renewed at the regular price of the subscribed offer (monthly or annual as the case may be), charged immediately to the registered means of payment, and then renewed according to the contractual frequency.
The Customer is expressly informed, before validating their order, of the paid nature of the renewal, of its price and of its frequency. The corresponding box must be explicitly ticked in order to validate the order, in accordance with Articles L.221-13 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
5. Conclusion of the contract
5.1 Order process
Subscription to a Paid Service is carried out online, according to the following steps:
- selection of the offer by the Customer on the pricing page;
- creation of, or login to, the Account;
- entry of payment information on the secure interface of the payment provider Stripe;
- detailed summary of the order, including, where applicable, the trial price, the regular price, the frequency and the express mention of tacit renewal;
- final validation by the Customer by activating the payment button, constituting full and unreserved acceptance of these Sales Terms, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and formation of the contract.
The payment operation definitively binds the Customer, subject to the exercise of the right of withdrawal under the residual conditions of Article 7.
5.2 Confirmation
Upon completion of the order, MeilleursJobs sends the Customer a confirmation by email to the address associated with their Account, summarising the essential characteristics of the subscription. The Customer may also consult, at any time, the status of their subscription and the history of their payments from their personal area.
5.3 Refusal of an order
MeilleursJobs reserves the right to refuse any order from a Customer with whom a prior dispute is ongoing, or in the event of suspicion of fraud, identity theft or breach of the Terms of Service or the Sales Terms.
6. Price and payment terms
6.1 Price
Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (incl. VAT), including French VAT at the rate in force. The applicable VAT rate is the one in force on the invoice date.
6.2 Means of payment
Payment is made exclusively by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express where available), through the secure payment solution Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland). MeilleursJobs neither collects nor stores any complete banking data: only an encrypted payment reference is retained.
The Customer expressly authorises MeilleursJobs and its payment provider to retain their registered means of payment for the purpose of enabling subsequent charges related to renewal of the subscription.
6.3 Invoicing
An invoice is made available to the Customer after each payment, in their personal area or by email upon request.
6.4 Non-payment
In the event of non-payment, unjustified chargeback or any other situation resulting in rejection of the charge, MeilleursJobs reserves the right:
- to immediately suspend access to the relevant Paid Services, without notice;
- to carry out further payment attempts, within the limits of applicable provisions;
- to terminate the subscription as of right, without prejudice to any other rights and actions;
- to claim payment of the sums due, increased by late-payment interest at the statutory rate from the due date, in accordance with Article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code (Code de commerce).
7. Right of withdrawal
7.1 Principle
In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the conclusion of the contract to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons for their decision or to bear any costs other than those provided for in Articles L.221-23 to L.221-25 of the same code.
7.2 Applicable exception: immediate performance of the digital service
The Paid Services offered by MeilleursJobs constitute immediately-performed digital services, the actual use of which begins as soon as the contract is concluded, at the express request of the Customer.
In accordance with Article L.221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in respect of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the performance of which has begun after the Customer's prior express consent and express waiver of their right of withdrawal.
Prior consent and waiver. By validating their order on the Platform and making payment, the Customer:
- expressly requests that MeilleursJobs begin performance of the subscribed service immediately, before the end of the statutory withdrawal period of fourteen (14) days;
- expressly waives their right of withdrawal for the portion of the service that will have been performed from the start of performance.
This request and waiver are reiterated to the Customer in the order summary referred to in Article 5.1 above, as well as in the order confirmation sent to the Customer by email.
Consequences. As soon as the Customer actually uses one of the paid features (CV generation, launch of a Candiboost campaign, sending of an application, etc.), they are deemed to have consumed all or part of the service. Withdrawal is no longer possible for the performed portion of the contract; for the unperformed portion, any refund is calculated pro rata temporis under the conditions of Article L.221-25 of the French Consumer Code.
Confirmation on a durable medium. As soon as reasonably possible after the order, MeilleursJobs sends the Customer, by email to the address associated with their Account, a confirmation setting out the essential characteristics of the subscribed service, its price, its frequency, and a copy of the standard withdrawal form set out in Annex 1 hereto.
7.3 Procedures for exercising the right
Where the right of withdrawal is applicable and has not been lost pursuant to Article 7.2, the Customer may exercise it:
- either by using the standard withdrawal form reproduced in Annex 1 hereto;
- or by sending MeilleursJobs any other unambiguous statement expressing their wish to withdraw, by email to support@meilleursjobs.com or by post to MEILLEURSJOBS — Customer service, 1 Place Pierre Mendès France, 34170 Castelnau-le-Lez, France.
The deadline is deemed met provided the communication is sent before its expiry. The burden of proving the exercise of the right of withdrawal lies with the Customer.
7.4 Effects of withdrawal
In the event of a validly exercised withdrawal, MeilleursJobs refunds the Customer all sums paid no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which it is informed of the decision to withdraw. The refund is made using the same means of payment as the one used for the initial transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees otherwise.
Where performance of the service has begun at the express request of the Customer before the end of the withdrawal period, the Customer must pay MeilleursJobs an amount proportional to the service already provided up to the communication of the decision to withdraw, calculated on the basis of the total agreed price (Article L.221-25 of the French Consumer Code).
8. Duration, tacit renewal and cancellation
8.1 Duration
CVBoost and Candiboost subscriptions are concluded for an initial term corresponding to the frequency chosen by the Customer at the time of subscription (monthly or annual), starting at the end of the trial period where applicable, or starting at the subscription date in the absence of a trial period. They are then renewed by tacit renewal, for successive periods of the same length as the initial period (monthly or annual), unless cancelled by either party under the conditions set out below.
8.2 Pre-contractual information and right to cancel at any time
In accordance with Articles L.215-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, and Article L.224-15-1 of the same code, the Customer may cancel their tacitly renewed subscription at any time, free of charge and without penalty, online from their personal area on the Platform, via a dedicated feature that is permanently accessible and easy to use.
8.3 Effects of cancellation by the Customer
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The Customer retains access to the Paid Services until that date, after which the subscription is definitively closed. No pro rata temporis refund is due in respect of the unused days of the current period, except where mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise (in particular in the event of a pricing change under Article 3.4 or a substantial amendment of the Sales Terms under Article 14).
8.4 Cancellation at MeilleursJobs's initiative
MeilleursJobs may terminate the subscription as of right, without notice or compensation:
- in the event of unremedied non-payment;
- in the event of a substantial breach by the Customer of the Terms of Service or the Sales Terms (in particular abusive use, fraud, unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights, scraping, resale, Account sharing);
- in the event of a definitive discontinuation of the service by MeilleursJobs, subject to reasonable notice.
Only in the latter case, MeilleursJobs will provide a pro rata temporis refund of sums paid in advance corresponding to the unperformed period.
9. Personal data
The processing of personal data collected in connection with the subscription to and performance of the Paid Services is governed by the Privacy Policy, to which the Customer is expressly referred.
10. Legal warranties and liability
10.1 Legal warranties
In accordance with Articles L.224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, MeilleursJobs is bound by the statutory warranty of conformity on digital content and services. The Customer may request that conformity be restored free of charge and, where this is impossible, obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract under the conditions provided for by law.
MeilleursJobs is also bound by the warranty against hidden defects under the conditions of Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
10.2 Limitation of liability
Subject to mandatory provisions applicable to consumers, and in particular the legal warranties referred to in Article 10.1, the liability of MeilleursJobs is limited under the conditions set out in the Terms of Service. In particular:
- MeilleursJobs is subject to a best-efforts obligation in providing the Service;
- MeilleursJobs does not guarantee that a job, an interview or a positive response from an employer will be obtained, those outcomes depending exclusively on external factors;
- in no event shall MeilleursJobs's liability exceed the total amount actually paid by the Customer during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, except in the event of wilful misconduct or gross negligence;
- indirect damage (loss of opportunity, loss of income, damage to image, etc.) is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Force majeure
MeilleursJobs's liability cannot be engaged in the event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, i.e. in the event of an event beyond its reasonable control which could not reasonably be foreseen at the time the contract was concluded, and the effects of which could not be avoided by appropriate measures. The following are considered force majeure events, without limitation: major internet network outages, failures of an essential provider (hosting, AI provider, payment provider, email operator), cyberattacks, natural disasters, terrorist acts, decisions of public authorities making performance of the service impossible.
12. Complaints and customer service
Any complaint relating to a Paid Service may be sent to:
- Email: support@meilleursjobs.com
- Post: MEILLEURSJOBS — Customer service, 1 Place Pierre Mendès France, 34170 Castelnau-le-Lez, France
MeilleursJobs undertakes to provide an initial response as soon as possible, and at the latest within thirty (30) business days from receipt of the complaint.
13. Consumer mediation and online dispute resolution
13.1 Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. and R.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the consumer Customer has the right, in the event of a dispute with MeilleursJobs that has not found an amicable resolution, to make use, free of charge, of a consumer mediation scheme.
Prior to referring the matter to a mediator, the Customer must have sent MeilleursJobs a written complaint to support@meilleursjobs.com and not have received a satisfactory response within a period of two (2) months.
The Customer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform referred to in Article 13.2 below, or exercise their rights before the competent courts in accordance with Article 15.
The up-to-date contact details of the consumer mediator to which MeilleursJobs adheres will be provided to the Customer upon simple request sent to support@meilleursjobs.com.
13.2 European online dispute resolution platform
The European Commission makes an online dispute resolution platform available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
14. Amendment of the Sales Terms
MeilleursJobs reserves the right to amend these Sales Terms at any time in order to take account of legal, regulatory, case-law, technical or commercial developments.
Any substantial amendment to the Sales Terms applicable to an ongoing subscription is notified to the Customer by email at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect. The Customer may, in the event of disagreement, cancel their subscription under the conditions of Article 8.2 before the amendment takes effect, free of charge.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Sales Terms are governed by French law.
Any dispute relating to their formation, interpretation, performance or termination shall be submitted to the French courts. For consumer Customers, the competent courts are, at the Customer's option, either the courts of the place where they were domiciled at the time the contract was concluded or at the time the harmful event occurred, or the courts of the defendant's place (Article R.631-3 of the French Consumer Code).
16. Miscellaneous provisions
Entire agreement. These Sales Terms, together with the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between MeilleursJobs and the Customer in relation to the Paid Services.
Partial invalidity. If a provision of the Sales Terms is declared null or unenforceable, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Assignment. The Customer may not assign, transmit or transfer their rights and obligations arising from these Sales Terms without the prior written consent of MeilleursJobs.
